Double bridge glasses: what they are and how to choose them

Choosing eyeglasses is certainly not easy, in fact, in addition to understanding which model we like and bestows, we need to consider other points, a little more technical.

Eyeglasses must become your best friend and faithful companion of many adventures. It must be a modern, practical, light, resistant eyewear that obviously performs its main function that is to offer you clear and precise visibility.

In addition, eyeglasses, or rather its lenses, must guarantee continuous rest and protection for your eyes. When you wear them you must not feel any discomfort and also it must make you arrive in the evening with your eyes rested and ready to enjoy a good movie at the end of the day.

For this reason it is necessary to choose special lenses with a blue light filter. By wearing glasses with these lenses you can forget about the annoyance of red and dry eyes and what a terrible headache.
But if the choice of lenses is bound by 3 main characteristics (graduation, blue light filter and anti-glare) the choice of frame is much more free and varied.

For this reason, in this article we want to talk only about the most pleasant part of choosing a pair of glasses, or its aesthetic side, in particular we will talk about double bridge glasses .

How are double bridge glasses made?

Every year the fashion of glasses launches on the market some very eccentric and particular models, both in shapes and materials.

Eyeglasses are an accessory that cannot be missed, whether you have the real need to use them and whether you want to accessorise your look.

But among all these bizarre new trends there are some frames that will never go out of fashion, defined precisely evergreen.

Among these we find the protagonist frame of our article: the double bridge one.
As the name suggests, it is a particular frame that provides two points above the nose that join the two lenses.

It is a model that has always been in fashion since the past and that continues to be a favorite among everyone.

The lenses can be both round and square, in any case with the particularity of the double central temple they will make a banal frame in a modern and very versatile frame.
In fact, this model is perfect for both a casual and sporty look but also for a much more elegant and formal look, in any case they will not make you look bad and give your look an extra touch.

How to choose the right double bridge glasses?

But if the double bridge glasses are among the most coveted and used models, how can you choose the one that best suits you and your face?

Well, even for this question we have the answers you need.

As we said, it is a versatile eyewear that is good for everyone, both men and women, indeed we will tell you more, what we like most about this eyewear is that out of a wide range of choices, the majority are unisex.

Obviously, before buying one, you have to evaluate all thosefundamental points of your face that you need to do whenever you want to buy eyewear or sunglasses.

If man or woman makes no difference then, what makes the difference is the shape of your face.
If it is a round and small face, focus on a double bridge glasses with slightly square but not too large leni, they must never exceed your features. In this way your face will look even smaller and entirely covered by glasses.

If your face, on the other hand, is square and large you could very well choose a double bridge frame with round or mixed lenses. That is, the upper straight bar and the lower part of the round lens.
As for the choice of the color of the frame, also in this case you have to keep in mind some small rules. In short, a rule in this case may suffice, the rule of the opposite.

If your complexion is very light, opt for slightly darker but not too much colors. The sharp contrast is never harmonious and pleasing to the eye. On the contrary, if your complexion is olive or dark, opt for lighter colors and tending towards golden and silver. The latter two will give more shine to your face.

Finally, choose a frame with resistant but light materials and above all pleasant to the touch. Remember that you will always be wearing your glasses all day long, so it is very subject to any kind of inconvenience and that is why it must guarantee you the right safety when you wear it in the morning when you wake up.
